Christmas Eve Festivities

We have a family tradition of going bowling on Christmas Eve. This year we started out by having lunch at Cafe Rio, a personal favorite! Then we followed by a serious competitive game of bowling.

My mom used to be on a bowling league when she attended BYU. My parents can be competitive when it comes to who has the highest score. Then Gilbert usually just throws the ball as hard as he can and beats them both. The first time he beat my mom, it was great. Now it is just funny to watch Gilbert beat everyone!

We played 2 games, and Gilbert won the first game. Apparently his magic of throwing the ball as hard as you can only works for the first game. On the second game I beat him by quite a considerable amount!

Whenever I bowl, it is always pure luck! That's why it was great that I beat Gilbert by so much on the second game we played!

This year was another fun year of bowling! Bowling alleys are great for babies because its so loud in there you can't hear a baby crying very much. Then you won't disturb others around you when your baby is crying. It's difficult to get out and do much with a new born, but this years bowling festivities were great!

This is a picture of Luke and cousin Bella! They are 7 weeks apart. Bella looks just like her daddy and Luke looks just like me. They don't know it yet, but they will be best of friends when they grow up!
