Halloween decor

Our goal is to be the coolest house on the block to go trick or treating to.  This year, I think we may have accomplished that.  However, plans for improvement are already in the works for next year.   This year we made our garage a haunted garage.  We had black lights, streamers and haunted music.  It was awesome!

The kids thouroughly enjoyed Halloween this year.  What's not to love about a sugar over load and being able to dress up in costumes.  Luke got to participate in a costume parade at school, and Clara had her own Halloween party at preschool.  They are in the prime age to enjoys these holidays.

Luke and Clara are some of the best gifts I have ever been given.  Their personalities are unique and all their own.  They feed off of each other, and I'm grateful for their intelligence.  Lately we've been having a lot of conversations that simply explain the meanings or workings of a lot of every day things.  We have intelligent conversations, and it's something new to me.  They ask questions that denote they are actually digesting their world and giving things great thought.  We still have our tantrum and chaotic moments, but for the most part, these kids are simply blessings in our family.
