This little lady is growing like a weed! She sits up like a champ and is able to crawl! She understands sign language but isn't able to use it quite yet. It's funny how she laughs when she knows we understand what she is wanting. She has this simple little whine when she wants something, and when we finally figure out what she wants she starts kicking her legs in excitement that she's getting what she wants. She still doesn't love baby food, she likes the food we eat better. Even with no teeth she impressively gums things around in her mouth until she's able to swallow. By 8 months old, she's struggles twice with double ear infections. So sleeping through the night still evades her. Ellie is still a pretty chill little girl and always enjoys the endless entertainment put on by Luke and Clara. She hates socks and head bands. She does not like peaches, but seems to love apples and pears. She wants to be walking and running, and will be there soon enough.
