Talk about the fastest year ever. Our little Ellie is officially one year old. She is one special little girl with lots of attitude. She is a petite little thing with lots of spunk for such a little girl. Some of her favorites are anything outside. She loves to play in the dirt, sand, grass, leaves, basically exploring the outdoors. She loves to be right in the action with Luke and Clara. She will not be left behind. She is able to take a few steps at a time, but seems to prefer crawling. She is able to crawl at lightening speed and wiggles her bum in the cutest way while crawling. She got 5 teeth at once over the last 4 weeks. What's unique about her teeth was that the first tooth that popped through wasn't one of the bottom two front or the top two front which is typically. She got a top tooth on the side first. She's great at gumming things around because people food is all she'll take. Her favorites are definitely pizza crust, raspberries, apples, and ice cream. She doesn't like milk....yet.
Ellie loves to swing and go down slides, and although she is little, she will happily crawl up a ladder to any slide and go down completely be herself! She is a climber for sure. She tries to climb up essentially anything that is climbable!
For Ellie's birthday we went out to Texas Roadhouse which seems to be the kids' favorite.
Ellie doesn't know its her birthday but she would clap along whenever we would sing to her. She doesn't say any words yet, but she definitely understands. She can get out attention by grunting and screaming and pointing. She knows how to play peek-a-boo and loves to be the center of attention.
