Trying to create new adventures for the kids, we ventured up to Battle Creek Falls for a hike.
Surprisingly, the kids enjoyed the hike. Clara had to be carried most of the way, but Luke was a trooper!
We also took the kids up to Deer Creek Reservoir for some fishing. We spend an afternoon attempting to catch a fish. We caught lots of moss and other random things, but no fish. This did not hinder the kids' excitement about the day. After about 4 hours trying we decided to head home. The only protest from the kids was that we weren't staying longer! Luke was so disappointed! The kids didn't care we never caught anything, they just enjoyed the day!
