Happy Easter

We were able to spend another wonderful holiday as a family doing fun things.  The kids absolutely love swimming, and we go as often as we can.  

 The best part about holidays is the excitement and pure joy the kids exude.  The Easter bunny was generous with toys and candy.  A highlight for the kids is coloring eggs.  

 It's also fun to see how competitive these two are.  For no good reason, these two push each other further.  They turn everything into a competition whether is the fastest, or the biggest, or the .....

As we get ready for summer and the upcoming arrival of our baby sister, a few funny things to remember.  First, Luke was not happy that this baby was a girl.  His feelings were deeply hurt that it wasn't a boy baby or that there weren't 2 babies, one boy and one girl.  As of lately he is very upset that we are breaking his house rules which include no babies allowed in our house.  He is simply not excited for yet another little sister.

Clara on the other hand is ecstatic.  She can't wait to help with the baby and gladly gave up her room and crib in preparation for the baby.  She has adamantly decided this baby's name should be Zyla.  She says she is so excited to hold the baby.

Both of the kids have also decided that they love their daddy more at night than their mommy.  Their daddy will allow them to cuddle in any way they want and as long as they want.  Clara is particularly one for snuggles, and daddy is her favorite.
