A Very Long Week....

This week Gilbert was away in Germany for a trade show.
It was a very long week, especially for a little boy, who didn't have his play mate.
So here's some things we did this week to pass the time.

I tried to spend extra time playing with Luke.
He loves to play catch, and he actually has pretty good aim.
Enough that Gilbert is thinking baseball camp instead of football camp.
Luke stands in the family room and throws a ball into the kitchen,
then waits for me to throw it back, and we do it all over again.

This week, Luke learned he LOVES french fries.
It's so boring and time consuming just to cook for myself.
So we hit up a few drive through's this week,
and boy did Luke like chicken fingers and french fries!

We also took extra long baths, and played even when the water was gone.
We walked around the mall, and waved to all the other kids.
We played with lots of friends,
and even went to a really cool party at cousin Natalie's house.
Worked on lots of projects to keep us busy to ignore the fact that we miss daddy!

We'll be very happy to have Gilbert back home tomorrow!
I'm sure he'll have lots of pictures to post!
