Luke's first trip to the ZOO

While we were in Idaho for the 4th, we took Luke to the ZOO!
He seemed to really enjoy himself.

His favorite part was definitely the petting zoo part.
I decided we would feed the animals just outside the fence so we would get ran over inside.
At first, Luke wasn't quite sure what he thought about this.
The goats were going crazy, head butting each other to get closer to the food.
Then their long tongues would come out and lick up all the food.
Their teeth were chattering back and forth to try and reach.
That is when Luke started giggling.

To see the goats noses reach through the fence just seemed to be hilarious to Luke.
He just kept laughing, so we kept feeding to watch him laugh.

This was at the penguin encounter, where we got to watch them getting fed.
I think Luke just liked to touch the glass and see something on his level.

This was when we were watching the monkeys, he thought they were funny too.
They came right up to the glass and were swinging back and forth.

It was a fun first trip to the zoo!
