Week in Idaho

We spent the 4th of July Holiday weekend in Idaho visiting our families.
We had a lot of fun, and each day was full of activities.
First thing on our list to do was try out the new swing grandpa installed.
Luke loved it.
We had to get him to learn to hold on to the ropes, and then he could soar.

Luke especially liked it when Uncle Sterling started swinging along with him.
Swings are just fun.

We decided to take Luke to the parade, for his first parade event ever.
He loved it.
There was so much to see, and Luke is already a people watcher.
The weather in Idaho, is very unpredictable, and it was FREEZING!
Luke didn't like the loud Fire Truck sirens though.

We were all freezing because it was about 52 degrees during the parade.
When we left our house in Utah, it was high 90s!

Luke also got his first trampoline experience.
We jumped around with his cousins.
When we were by our self, we left him crawl around on the trampoline.

I think a trampoline purchase is in our future.
Luke just loves to jump, I think he could waste hours on one,
once he can jump for himself.

We let him practice jumping and he really liked that the trampoline bounced back!

Later we did fireworks (Luke was sleeping by this point)
Fireworks are always fun.
We were practicing a new technique on the camera, and capturing movement with the fireworks.
I didn't do it very well, but you can see how they were moving the sparklers below.

It was a fun vacation in Idaho.
